2011 The construction of modern sanitaion facilities took off. With the first "pilote" project at Gebeye Dar Primary School, Hawassa, Southern Ethiopia, EDGET demonstrated a cost effective design and combined construction of 2 x 3 toilets, septic tank, plus an access point of water for children and in addition staff training on hygienic matters for sustainability matters. Costs: around 3,300 €.
